Should You Trust Meta AI? When AI Repackages Context Without Knowing What’s True
Meta AI once replied to someone using almost the same explanation I had given earlier. Not exactly copy-paste. But close enough that it felt like my answer had been translated, polished, and repackaged. That made me wonder: Is AI really “knowing” the answer? Or is it sometimes just reading nearby context and making it sound more confident? This is the trust problem with AI. When the context is correct, AI looks smart. But when the context is wrong, AI can still summarize it beautifully and confidently. That’s why I don’t think we should treat AI as a final authority. Use it as an assistant. Use it to explain, summarize, translate, and brainstorm. But when accuracy matters, verify. Because AI is powerful. But it is not a truth machine.
